THINKING AND LIVING THE WAY OF CHRIST

The Christian’s call is to think and live the way of Christ. Motivated by His love, we are to humbly serve our fellow man by putting others first. Rather than withdrawing from the world, He asks us to engage the world, living as salt and light, rejoicing in all that is good in society while striving to make a difference.

The 2008 conference is designed to affirm that Christianity is an intellectually reasonable world-view, is relevant, and that those who believe in Christ are brought into a real relationship with the living God, resulting in an internal confirmation, and an external outworking, of the truth. With an emphasis on the arts, culture, and faith, the conference will help you better understand how to genuinely and humbly engage others for Christ.

Please join us for four days that will not only be a great time of fellowship, worship, and learning, but will surely broaden your perspective of what it means to think and live the way of Christ.

The Conference at a Glance

Dick Keyes will open the conference on Thursday night, July 31, with a free “Introduction to L’Abri” plenary session and lecture. This is a great opportunity for those who are not sure about registering for the full conference. Over the next three days and evenings registrants will be treated to a menu of over 23 workshops, lectures, sermons and special events, including a “Movie and Discussion” night, a concert, and dining and fellowship opportunities.

This year’s conference will feature some of the best writers, speakers, theologians, philosophers, and cultural experts that L’Abri has to offer.
